Set sail for a generous helping of history on this voyage from Lisbon to Istanbul. First, we head south on a sea day to Cadiz in Spain for a tour of its historic heart, and continue eastwards to Málaga, Cartegena, and Valencia, before another day at sea. An overnight in Valletta on Malta offers the chance to see St. John's Cathedral and its two Caravaggio masterpieces, and two Greek islands, Crete and Rhodes, offer serious archaeological study. Our voyage ends with a glimpse of Ottoman times in Istanbul.
